Spring Break 2024 with Sammy’s!

Spring has sprung, and as sure as the flowers blooming and birds chirping is the flocking of millions of spring breakers to hotspots all over the nation in search of a good time, drinks in hand.

To make the quest for the best spring break as easy as possible, the premium libations Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum and Beach Bar Cocktails canned rum cocktails, available in four refreshing flavors, have partnered with bars and liquor stores in Southern California, Texas and Illinois to bring Sammy Hagar’s Baja beach vibes to the masses.

Southern California

Whether it’s at Sammy’s very own Cabo Wabo Beach Club or somewhere else on the western seaboard, Sammy’s will fuel the parties at several hot destinations. They include:

Cabo Wabo Beach Club (Huntington Beach) 

- Serving Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktails and Santo Spirit daily. Full drink menu available here. Happy Hours daily from 3 - 5 p.m., menu linked here. 

- Every Friday and Saturday from 6 - p.m., Cabo Wabo will host Red Rocker Nights, a jammin’ good time with $6 drafts, drink specials, delicious bites and more.

Cococabana (Oceanside)

- Get shamrocked at a Saint Patrick’s Day event featuring exclusive Sammy’s cocktails like  Four Leaf Cafecito and For The Love Of Red Heads Mai Tai, as well as Pot of Gold buckets of Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktails on Sunday, March 17 starting at 4 p.m.

- Party all weekend long with a Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum specialty event on Saturday, March 30 from 7 - 10 p.m, featuring specialty cocktails, Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktails buckets, demo girls, tastings and more.

The Belly Up (Solana Beach) 

- On Thursday, April 4, San Diego’s favorite live music bar will host a spring break kick-off show from platinum recording artist Orianthi with opener The Blitz Brothers, which will feature specials on cocktails made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are available here. 

Texas - South Padre Island and Galveston

Always popping during break, the beachy paradises of South Padre Island and Galveston will offer no shortage of Sammy’s deals, exclusive cocktails, tastings and more. 

 Margaritaville Beach Resort (South Padre Island)

- Guests checking in to the resort between 3 - 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14 will receive a complimentary Sammy Beach Bar Cocktail. 

- Toast spring break with poolside deals on Sammy Beach Bar Cocktails from  1 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 and also on Friday, March 15. The pool will also be host to samplings and giveaways on Thursday and Friday from noon - 5 p.m.

- Sip on a Skinny Carajillo cocktail made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Kola Spiced Rum, Licor 43, iced coffee and cream, available throughout the week.

 Wanna-Wanna Inn Beach Bar and Grill (South Padre Island)

- Sip on Sammy’s Beach Bar Kola Spiced Rum samplings from 2 - 4 p.m. also on March 13.

Ben’s Liquor (South Padre Island)

- Sample Sammy's spirits with tastings across its 2 locations from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13.

Tin Cup’s Caddy Shack (Galveston) 

- The full-service bar and driving range, open daily, will be host to a Sammy’s tasting event from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Friday, March 15.

The Spot (Galveston) 

- Happy hour special with Sammy’s spirit labels from 4- 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12.

The San Luis Resort (Galveston) 

- Serving Mai Tai’s made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Platinum, will be a promo with cocktail throughout the week

Pelican and the Shark (Galveston) 

- The popular bar on the pier will host a promo with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum on Thursday, March 14 from 4-6 p.m., adding a Nutty Carajilo made with Sammy’s to their menu.

Illinois

If you’re in Illinois and aren’t able to make a break for the warmer pastures, Sammy’s can bring the beach vibes to you with“Anti-Spring Break!,” a string of shows featuring Hagar tribute Bad Motor Scooter band to raise local spirits with rockin’ music; exclusive cocktails, shooters and drink specials, like the Maui Spiced Beach and Bad Motor Scooter shooter; giveaways; and more.
