So-Cal - Coachella (Friday, Apr. 12 - Sunday, Apr. 14 & Friday, Apr. 19 - Sunday, Apr. 21)
One of the world’s premier music festivals will return to the spotlight for two consecutive weekends in April. As you’d expect from a Southern California icon, 2024’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will feature the biggest celebrity sightings, the trendiest influencers posting and the hottest acts in music rocking the stages of this desert classic.
Featuring three days of live performances by a diverse slate of 167 music artists including superstars Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator and Doja Cat; legends like No Doubt, Sublime and Blur; and buzz-worthy stars like Ice Spice, Lil Uzi Vert and J Balvin, Coachella-goers can put their weekend music experience on shuffle and check this fest off their bucket list.
Tampa - Breakaway Fest (Friday, Apr. 26 - Saturday, Apr. 27)
Floridians who love their dance tunes served up on turntables, Breakaway Tampa 2024 will offer two days of binge-worthy EDM superstars, dance energy and a pulsating rhythm that’s gonna get you.
This memorable festival will feature electronic music mainstays like ILLENIUM, Kaskade, ZEDD and SOFI TUKKER as well as bass legends Said The Sky, TroyBoi and ACRAZE, among many others. If you’re more into the strong, silent hype, try Breakaway’s Silent Disco where you can dance like nobody’s listening.
Las Vegas - Lovers & Friends Fest (Saturday, May 4)
Hustle over to the Lovers & Friends Festival and flow with the sounds of music’s top stars such as Alicia Keys, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blidge, Gwen Stefani, Backstreet Boys, Nas, Nelly, Janet Jackson, Ludacris and more. This one day festival features so many dance jams, boy bands and slow jams from the past couple decades that it would have made the most epic mixtape ever. Now that’s what I call a music festival.
Chicago - Lollapalooza (Thursday Aug. 1 - Sunday, Aug. 4)
Over 400,000 music fans flock to Chicago’s Grant Park every summer to pay homage to one of the OGs of music festivals, Lollapalooza. This legendary rock-fest, which has been banging heads, moshing pits and rocking fans for 33 years, is responsible for some of the most iconic moments in music history like when Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder famously sung “Porch” while he swung from the scaffolding 30-feet above the stage and when Rage Against the Machine raged against censorship by protesting silently on stage …naked.
The Lollapalooza stage has been graced by the biggest music acts in the world and this year will be no different. Featuring show-stopping performances by headline acts The Killers, Tyler The Creator, Blink 182, Skrillex, Kesha, SZA and over 179 bands from all over the world this year’s edition is sure to be another page in music’s history book. If there’s one music festival that shouldn’t be missed, Lollapalooza deserves to be at the top of that list.
