6 February, 2024
With the Big Game taking center stage in Las Vegas for the first time ever, the entertainment capital of the world is living up to its nickname this week with more viewing parties, tailgating events and specials for football fans than Patrick Mahomes has Super Bowl trophies.
While it may seem as difficult to navigate through the hoopla as it is to avoid a Nick Bosa sack, we’ve got a winning strategy to score at three of the hottest places to celebrate Big Game Sunday.
Stick around to the end of this post, because Sammy Hagar is also sharing cocktail recipes for cheering on your favorite championship contender, the KC Mojito and Bang Bang Niner Gang, both made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum.
Located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Sammy’s own Cabo Wabo Cantina will offer football fans an all-you-can-eat-and-drink Big Game viewing party on Sunday, Feb. 11.
The Big Game Fiesta will include tailgate-style favorites such as homemade guacamole and chips, nacho platters, chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, carne asada and chicken sliders, and churro and brownie bites, among others. Cabo Wabo’s all-you-can-drink premium bar will offer house cocktails such as their signature CW Mai Tai and Maui Rocker, both made with Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum Platinum, signature margaritas, draft and bottled beers and more. The all-you-can-eat-and-drink package is priced at $300 per person.
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
The STRAT will be host to a giant weekend of activations and deals, including viewing parties, special deals and even the Football Fan Frenzy sweepstakes, where True Rewards® members can earn autographed merchandise, admission to The STRAT’s VIP Big Game party and even two tickets to the big game.
PT’s Wings & Sports and View Lounge will offer a “Tailgate Buffet” food and beverage package fit for parties of two to 10 guests, including pizza, signature chicken wings, french fries, beer and much more, all served up while the game plays on state-of-the-art LED video walls and numerous LED TVs.

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate

Part tailgate, part food festival, the event will feature the best eats Sin City has to offer, unique concept dishes crafted by Guy himself and even pop-ups of fan favorite restaurants from Guy’s hit series, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” With musical performances from country sensation Dustin Lynch and mega-star DJ Diplo, drinks galore featuring Santo Spirits and much more, the event promises a football cookout like never before,
Tickets to the event are free to register for at the link here, however with a first-come-first serve policy and limited capacity those who want to guarantee their entry ought to check out the event’s VIP ticket packages.
